Former Xposé star Peter O’Riordan reveals he and his family have ‘lost everything’ in Maui wildfires

Peter O’Riordan has revealed he and his family have “lost everything” in the devastating Maui wildfires.

The TV presenter relocated to Hawaii with his wife Stephanie and their children after he was axed from Xposé in 2016.

Earlier this week, Peter and his family were forced to flee their home as wildfires raged through Maui, which he’s described as a “living nightmare”.

Peter tweeted: “House gone, car gone, kids house gone, grandma’s house gone, everyone out safe… this is a living nightmare. Pray for us here in Maui.”

He later posted a photo of his backpack, and wrote: “This is everything I own – my passport and green card were torched along with everything else.”

“I’m literally in pure devastation. I don’t know how we will proceed as a community. We have all lost everything.”

Peter also tweeted Oprah asking for help, writing: “As Maui residents please help us @Oprah we have lost everything. @JeffBezos @larryellison and continue to go through this is Lahaina and more.

“People use your resources to help heal the people and this place we all love.”

The wildfires have so far claimed the lives of 53 people, with over 1,000 people reported missing.
