The first look at Saoirse Ronan in the upcoming Broadway production of The Crucible has been released.
The impending theatre performance marks the 21-year-old’s debut on Broadway appearing alongside Ben Whishaw, Sophie Okonedo and Irishman Ciaran Hinds.
Posing as her character Abigail Williams, the Carlow native’s piercing blue eyes follow as she holds a blank expression in snap released by Entertainment Weekly.

Previously speaking of her new acting challenge Saoirse admitted she was terrified.
“It’s The Crucible – no pressure! It’s terrifying. No pressure at all playing Abigail. I’m terrified,” she said.
Performances of the stage revival begin on February 29 in advance of an official opening night schedule for April 7.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty has been nominated for her performance in Brooklyn at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
