Apprentice boss Bill Cullen has revealed he plans to finally marry Jackie Lavin – after 35 years together.
But the former TV3 star admits he still hasn’t done one little thing, actually propose to her.
“We’re looking forward to getting married in the next few years, although I haven’t proposed yet,” he said.
“There is an awful lot to suggest that when you’re not married, you get on better, but we’re mature enough at this stage to know that we can get on with each other.

“It’ll be a very quiet event, but Jackie can change her mind on things like that so we will have to see.
“I am still mad about her and she surprises me every day with something she has done on the quiet.”
Both have been steadfastly staying away from marriage up until this point after previous relationships.
And Bill – who was replaced by Caroline Downey on The Apprentice – said their love works because Jackie is the boss.

“Jackie says she is the boss, and I’m the boss when the boss isn’t here. That’s the way it works,” he told the Irish Independent.
“She keeps me on my toes — and I’m delighted about that. We have a great relationship and we keep each other grounded, and I wouldn’t do anything that she doesn’t know about and vice versa.
“Jackie is very strong, like my mam — they have very similar abilities and one of them is strength.
“She’s brilliant, full of energy, very intelligent and you never know what way she is going to go, although after 35 years, I should!”
