Ryan Tubridy has admitted that he still gets nervous ahead of The Late Late Toy Show, despite the fact that he’s hosted the show for nine years now.
This morning, this year’s The Little Mermaid inspired theme was revealed, and the show is set to air tonight on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
Speaking to Goss.ie at the unveiling of the Toy Show set, Ryan said, “I do get a little nervous… because it is a big show.
“There is 1.5 million people going ‘be funny’, ‘dance more’… and that’s quite pressurised.”
The RTÉ star also revealed that he’ll be dressed up as Sebastian from The Little Mermaid from the always spectacular opening number.
“I’ll be wearing four different jumpers, but most importantly I’ll be wearing a costume.
“I’ll be dressing as Sebastian from The Little Mermaid, so it’s going to be wonderfully appalling.”
