Rob Lipsett has revealed whether he’s set for more reality TV, after his stint on ITV’s Love Island.
Goss.ie caught up with the fitness YouTuber at the Lynx pop-up shop, where he spoke about his time on Love Island – and whether he’s still looking for love.
When asked why he thought Love Island wasn’t a success for him, Rob said, “I was the only Irish guy in there and I think they were waiting for me to say something, 11 out of the 12 newcomers didn’t make it, so I think they just kind of throw them in there.
“They wanted me to be a little bit more ‘Bitchy’ or cause a bit of drama, and it’s just not my style.”
On the topic of reality TV, Rob didn’t rule out a return to the small screen.
“Having my own YouTube channel is a bit like having my own reality TV show, except I get to say what we do, I get to say what goes on and I just really want to focus on that because it’s what I’m passionate about.
“But I wouldn’t rule out reality TV in the future, it would just depend on what it would be,” he said.
When asked if he’d consider an appearance on MTV’s Ex On The Beach, Rob said, “You could, you could, who knows.”
“I’m single right now and I’m having a good time, seeing what’s out there, but I’m not going force anything. If I meet a girl next week – cool. If I meet a girl next year, then that’s cool too,” he added.
