EXCLUSIVE! Lisa Fitzpatrick reveals how she 'disguised' being overweight

Lisa Fitzpatrick has revealed that when she was at her biggest she used to distract people with “sparkly shoes” and dramatic make-up so they wouldn’t notice her weight.

The TV star previously weighed 15 stone and admitted she was very good at disguising her body so nobody would comment on it.

“I was very good at disguising it. I would wear sparkly shoes and draw everyone’s eye. I was really good at doing my make-up,” she told Goss.ie.

“I used to make it all about the eyes, the hair and that really kept everyone looking up here so nobody looked down there.”

The stylist insisted that if women want to lose weight and live healthier lifestyles, they need to stop talking about it – and just do it.

“I say to women, the only way for you to start is to be in the right frame of mind and to want it yourself, don’t tell anybody, stop talking about diets,” she said.

“If you talk about diets you’ll never lose a pound. Focus and get on with it. Nobody can make you do this, it’s entirely up to you.”

Meanwhile, while Lisa loved the experience of writing her book Diet SOS, the mum-of-two has no plans for another any time soon.

“I’ve no interest in writing another book. I did one, and I really loved it. They asked me to write another one and I’m just not there,” she told Goss.ie.

“I wont do a book for the sake of it. I’d have to be really passionate about it.”
