Amanda Byram has said she isn’t joining TV3 for a new series.

The Dublin TV star was reportedly being lined up for a new TV show, but the Clontarf native exclusively told Goss.ie there is no truth to the rumours.

“This is the first I’ve heard of it,” she said.

“Yesterday some guy tweeted me saying ‘Congratulations on the TV3 show, can you tell me when it will be on?’ I thought ‘weirdo’.

“I swear to god I’m not doing that thing that people do on telly where they go ‘I don’t know’, I genuinely have no idea,” she explained.

Speaking at the launch of the 150th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Amanda said she’d be happy to land a show on Irish TV.

“I’d be delighted, absolutely delighted but no I’m meeting with TV3 and RTÉ tomorrow for a general catch up,” she explained.

“I love it the press know before I do brilliant, it’s a sign of the times.”

Meanwhile Amanda revealed she is headed to LA in the coming weeks.

“I’ve been called over for specific meetings so it’s all very exciting but I’ve done that quite a few times and some things come out of it and sometimes they don’t.”
