Emily Ratajkowski shares more snaps from Irish getaway with son Sly

Emily Ratajkowski has shared more snaps from her idyllic trip to Ireland with her son Sly.

The actress and model, whose full name is actually Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski, is familiar with Ireland as her father, who works as an artist, hails from Bantry in Co. Cork.

One photo shows Emily posing in front of Lough Bofinne alongside her mother Kathleen and father John, who was holding his grandson Sly.

Another snap shows Sly walking through a farmyard, giving him the true Irish experience.

She also shared a photo of her father’s old farmhouse in Bantry, which he bought and renovated over 20 years ago.

Known for her roles in Gone Girl and Entourage, the brunette beauty has previously talked about spending her summers in Ireland as a youngster.

“Both my grandmothers are from Ireland and I have spent every summer in Bantry since my father, who is an artist, had the romantic idea 20 years ago to buy an old farmhouse on the west coast and renovate it,” she said.

“I go back any time I get the opportunity and I have many friends who I still hang out with in the local pubs. I have great childhood memories cow-tipping, going off and getting lost in the bog for hours and coming home covered in dirt.

“I love the pubs – the fact that you can find all ages there. It’s so easygoing, an old man could be dancing with a young girl having a bit of fun and no one bats an eyelid.”

“It’s so relaxed and everyone is so friendly. I’m more of a Smithwick’s or Bulmer’s girl than a pint of Guinness.”

During a previous interview with Goss.ie, Emily also revealed why she loves Ireland so much.

The actress told us: “(I love) the craic, and I love going to the pubs and just the spirit in Ireland is amazing and it’s also one of the most beautiful places in the world.”
