Don’t worry! Aidan Turner is still a nice guy and worthy of your love

Well thank goodness for that!

When a report surfaced over the weekend that Aidan Turner “flipped out” at fans on the set of Poldark and made a 72-year-old woman CRY, we couldn’t believe it.

And luckily we don’t have to as it’s now been proved to be completely false.

A spokesperson for the show told Metro.co.uk: “Aidan Turner and his Poldark co-stars are ‎very grateful to fans for their support and co-operation when filming.

“At times actors need to focus fully on the scene they are filming and we appreciate that our regular fans realise this and are respectful.aidan poldark

“In addition we have to cope with numerous photographers trying to capture scenes we are filming and we try to limit this mainly to prevent spoilers of key scenes being shown online.

“If any fans have been offended by our working practices we apologise but we know most of our supporters understand as we interact with them on a regular basis.”

The spokesperson’s comments come after it was claimed that Aidan had refused selfies with eager fans on set as he is getting annoyed by the constant attention.

Fans often gather on the Cornwall set to watch Aidan and his co-stars film scenes for the BBC show, in which he plays hunky hero Ross Poldark.
