Conor McGregor has said that he’s “devastated” by the shooting that took place in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The UFC star spends a lot of time in Las Vegas ahead of big fight nights, and took to Instagram last night to say that he’s praying for all the victims.

“Absolutely devastated upon hearing the news in Las Vegas, a city with so much energy and life. A city of celebration and enjoyment, a city so close to my heart,” he wrote.

“I pray for all the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.”

Meanwhile, UFC boss Dana White has pledged €850,000 to help victims, and said that the NFL are also getting involved.

According to the Irish Sun, Dana said, “This is my city, this is my town, I grew up here, I raised my family here, all my friends live here, this is where my business is. What we are going to do is donate a million dollars — to the people and the families that are affected by this.”

“It’s still too early, we will see what pops up over the next week but we’re going to cut that money up and donate to a bunch of different things that have to do with the tragedy or we’ll just give the whole million in one lump sum to the thing that everybody else is donating to — I know the NFL put up some money too.”

“Let me tell you what, there’s enough money in Las Vegas for the people who live here — the businesses that thrive here to take care of its own, that’s the way I think it should be done.

“I think that every casino on the strip should dig-in and help, I think that businesses like mine and a lot of other people’s that do well here in Las Vegas can help. I’d say to the people outside of Las Vegas, don’t be afraid to come here,” he added.
