Conor McGregor has the best response to landing on sports rich list

He may have made the Forbes’ highest paid athletes top 100 list, but Conor McGregor isn’t forgetting where he came from.

The Crumlin native was the only UFC fighter that made the cut, placing 85th on the coveted list.

Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old revealed he still knows his roots.

“Made the Forbes 100 today. Still in the hood. #Dublin12,” he wrote.

The MMA star took in a whopping €19.7million between mega endorsements and fight winnings.

Conor wasn’t the only Irish man that made the list with golfer Rory McIlroy placing 17th with €37.3million.
