Presenter Cat Deeley has revealed the secret to her happy marriage is spending time away from husband Patrick Kiely.
Cat, 38, admitted that the pair can start “hating” each other, but things are good again once they spend some time apart.
“We start getting on each other’s nerves. He starts to hate me and I start to hate him,” she said.

“And he has to go away and I kind of miss him. We’re normally apart for about 10 days. And then he comes back and we’re lovely again.”
Speaking to the Sunday People, Cat said it’s the perfect way to keep their romance alive, while she is in LA and Patrick travels to Ireland.
“It works out perfectly,” she said.

“It’s the perfect scenario. Lots of my friends are quite jealous about our relationship.”
Cat and Patrick tied the knot in Rome back in 2012, after being friends for over ten years.
