Andrew Scott says he can handle fame now because he's older

Andrew Scott has revealed that his age will help him deal with his upcoming success from the new Bond movie.

It seems the Irish actor is set for huge success with his upcoming role as Jame Bond’s boss in the 007 film Spectre.

“I have a balanced sense now. I’m not 21, I’m nearly f***ing 40, so I know what it’s about,” he said.

The Churchtown native has admitted he isn’t “addicted to fame” and doesn’t allow a film’s success to direct his acting career.

“I think there is a certain mistake where you think, ‘Right, I’ve been in that film which was big, now I have to be in an even bigger film’,” he told Sunday Times culture magazine.

The Irish actor has revealed that money doesn’t affect why he chooses to take a role in a particular film.

“So if I want to do a really cool film with great people and it pays f*** all, I want to go and do that,” he added.
