Actress Vivienne Connolly admits she's glad she 'never went through with breast implants'

Former Fair City actress Vivienne Connolly has revealed she shot down plans to get breast implants after she had children.

The TV star admitted she planned on having the drastic surgery after having her two children Ben and Katie.

“I would have always been a B-cup and I was always happy with them but I had this thing in my head for years that I was going to have a boob job after I had my kids.

“I went for a consultation after I had Katie and I had breastfed, but it actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.

“The consultation at a surgery in Harley Street in London cost €500 and I spoke to the surgeon and he said, ‘You’re looking well’, and such.

“I came home and I had always said I would only do it if I was 100pc sure, but I was only 90pc and I’d spent all that money but I still didn’t go through with it,” she said.

Not for her: Vivienne decided to not go for the surgery | PATRICK O’LEARY

Speaking at the launch of Therapie Clinic’s #LoveIrishSkin initiative, Vivienne admitted: “I’m glad I didn’t – but that’s not to say I wouldn’t do it in the future”.

“However, surgery brings its own problems. You don’t know how the scars are going to heal or how they’re going to feel.

“But we’re suckers for marketing that says if we get it done we’ll look a certain way,” she told the Herald.
