Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Lilibet Diana, has officially been added to the royal line of succession.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California on June 4.
The official Royal.UK website has since been updated to show Lilibet is eighth in line to the British throne.
Lilibet and her 2-year-old brother Archie are behind their father Prince Harry, who is currently sixth in line to the throne.
Prince Charles is first in line to Queen Elizabeth’s throne, followed by Prince William and his three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Queen Elizabeth acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, following the death of her father King George VI.
