NSYNC reunite to release their first song together in 22 years

It’s official! NSYNC are releasing their first single together in over 22 years.

The news comes after the iconic boy band reunited for the MTV VMAs on Tuesday night, where they teased a new project.

The group have since posted a video of them in the studio, revealing they will be releasing a brand new single called Better Place on September 29th.

In the video, Justin Timberlake is seen telling his bandmates: “So many stars aligned that’s why I hit you up like, ‘Hey, something came up.'”

“If we do this song, it’s a love letter to our fans. I would be honored to have the group on this song.”

NSYNC was formed back in 1995, and was made up of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone.

The boy band dominated the charts in the late 90s to early 2000s, but parted ways in 2002 amid reports Justin wanted to pursue a solo career.

When they reunited at the VMAs this week, the group presented Taylor Swift with the Best Pop award for her track Anti-Hero.

The songstress, who is a huge fan of NSYNC, was elated over their reunion – and her reaction has since gone viral on social media.
