Hozier has revealed he will be missing from the MTV Movie Awards – despite being up for two awards.
The Wicklow musician has been nominated for his video Take Me To Church.
Not only is he up for Best Rock Video, he’s also up for Best Direction, but the long-haired crooner won’t be making an appearance at the infamous awards show.

“Best of luck to @brendan_canty and @ConThomson in the #MTVVMAs with the nomination of TMTC music video. Sorry I can’t be there! Enjoy,” he wrote on Twitter.
No news yet on why he’ll be missing out but pals Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are both expected to be there.
