Pierce Brosnan to receive HUGE award

The actor's career spans almost four decades

Pierce Brosnan is set to receive a huge award from the European Film Academy.

The actor will be honoured with the European Achievement in World Cinema Award for his career spanning almost four decades.

The star is known for his role as James Bond but also appeared in Robin Williams’ Mrs. Doubtfire and the hit musical Mamma Mia!.

Not only has he starred in front of the camera but Pierce has also produced films since 1998 when he launched his company Irish Dreamtime.

To date, he’s produced 11 films including I.T., The November Man, Laws Of Attraction and The Nephew.

The 63-year-old will be an honorary guest at the 29th European Film Awards Ceremony on 10 December in Poland’s Wroclaw, European Capital of Culture 2016.
