Margot Robbie is reportedly “set to produce” a live-action The Sims film.

The game first launched in 2000 and has grown substantially since – resulting in numerous expansion packs players can buy to change the location settings of their Sims and more characters.

It has been reported that the Barbie star is set to bring the game to the big screen, with Kate Herron attached to direct the project.

Kate who is best known for directing the first season of Marvel’s Loki, is reported to be writing the screenplay alongside Briony Redman.

Electronic Arts, which published the game, will also be involved in a creative and producing capacity.
