Tom Hanks has been filmed angrily telling fans to “back the f**k off” after they almost knocked over his wife Rita Wilson in New York.
The couple were leaving a restaurant in the Big Apple on Wednesday when they were swarmed by a group of fans and paparazzi.
But as they made their way to their car, Rita was pushed by some members of the group, causing her to nearly fall over.
After the actress told the fans to “stop it”, Tom furiously turned to face the group, and shouted: “[That is] my wife, back the f**k off.”
After the actor scolded the fans for “knocking over” his wife, the pair left the scene in a waiting car.
Tom is currently promoting his latest film Elvis, in which he plays Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker.
The couple, who are both 65, have been married since April 30, 1988 – and share two children together, Chet and Truman Hanks.
