WATCH: Linkin Park and friends celebrate the life of Chester Bennington

The concert was live streamed on YouTube

Linkin Park and friends celebrated the life of Chester Bennington with fans last night at the Hollywood Bowl.

The singer died due to suicide at the age of 41 back in July, and now his bandmates, friends, family, and fans have honoured him in the best way.

The concert was also live streamed on YouTube for fans around the world to watch.

The band also wanted to shine a light on mental health, and posted a link to the One More Light Fund on their live stream.

“Give to the One More Light Fund to bring light to the world and shine a light on mental health,” the message read.

Fans were also encouraged to use the hashtag #F**kDepression and #MakeDepressionProud.

The One More Light Fund was set up in memory of Chester, and the fund will support Chester’s favourite Music for Relief program: Solar Suitcases – solar electricity kits – for remote health clinics without electricity.

According to the website, “The fund will also shine a light on mental health; helping individuals and families coping with mental and emotional struggles.”
