Pete Davidson cancels comedy gig last minute as he claims owner ‘disrespected’ him

Pete Davidson cancelled a comedy gig last minute and claimed the owner “disrespected” him.

The 25-year-old was set to put on a show in the Stress Factory Comedy Club last night, but took to his Instagram Story to apologise to fans for cancelling it.

In the video Pete said: “Hey guys in Connecticut, I’m sorry we had to leave the show before I got to go on.”

“The owner, Vinnie Brand disrespected me and did something that I told him not to do, and I can’t perform under those circumstances,” he claimed.

According to TMZ the owner took to the stage before Pete and told the crowd not to heckle about Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale, which he claimed were the “ground rules” Pete set out.

The comedian allegedly had asked Vinnie not to do an opening set before Pete.

The outlet also shared a video of Vinnie showing the comedian’s Instagram Story to the crowd after he cancelled the gig and said: “No way in the world would I ever disrespect any comedian.”
