Nicki Minaj claims that her tour was sabotaged by people who were paid ‘big money’

Nicki Minaj has claimed that her tour was sabotaged by people who were paid “big money.”

The rapper was arrested at the Netherlands airport hours before her concert on Saturday.

The Superbass singer was scheduled to perform at the Co-Op Live in Manchester.

The 41-year-old was detained at the airport on possession of soft drugs.

Writing on Instagram: “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show. They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs.”

“This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal.”

Nicki posted a series of messages on X – including which wrote: “they said they found weed.”

She also said: “they took my bags without consent,” continuing to claim “they’re trying to keep me from MANCHESTER”.

The rapper also wrote: “This is Amsterdam btw, where weed is legal.”

“It’s a 45 minute to an hour flight. So they’re probably trying to stall for about 4 hours.”

“Now they said I have to go 5 mins away to make a statement about my security to the police precinct,” she added.

Robert van Kapel, a spokesman for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, told NBC News: “We can confirm that we have arrested a 41-year-old American woman at Schiphol Airport because of possession of soft drugs.”

It is unclear if Minaj’s show at Co-op Live has been affected.

Nicki is due to perform at the number of venues in the coming days as part of her Pink Friday World Tour.
