New report claims these two drugs weren’t in Matthew Perry’s system at time of death

A new report has claimed fentanyl and meth weren’t found in Matthew Perry’s system at the time of his death.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the Friends star’s death wasn’t a result of either drugs, per initial tests.

The outlet has reported that more in-depth tests are still being conducted as part of a toxicology examination to check whether any other illegal drugs were found in his blood.

These in-depth tests will also determine whether the levels of his prescription medication were at harmful doses.

The results could take between 4-6 months to be returned, and the coroner will then be able to determine the cause and manner of Matthew’s death.

On October 28, the Friends star was found dead at his LA home at the age of 54.

The actor, who died of an apparent drowning in his hot tub, was found by his assistant.

It was previously reported that no illicit drugs were found on the scene, though police found numerous prescription drugs.

Matthew was reportedly on anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs and COPD medication.
