Meghan Markle’s secret Instagram account has been revealed, ahead of her social media comeback.
According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex is “coming back” to Instagram, three years after she and Prince Harry shut down their @sussexroyal account.
The 42-year-old’s new account, which can be found under the username @meghan, is already live but currently has no posts.
The profile photo is an image of peonies, which are said to be her favourite flower.
The account already has over 100k followers, including some of Meghan’s famous friends.
According to social media expert Eric Schiffer, the former actress could be set to make millions from her return to social media.
“I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram,” he told the Daily Mail.
“You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can command $1 million and up for a single post promoting a product.
“There is no reason Meghan couldn’t be earning those sorts of fees,” he added.
Meghan teased her return to Instagram during an interview with The Cut last August.
At the time, the mother-of-two said: “Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back … on Instagram.”
Before she met Prince Harry, Meghan had amassed over three million followers on her personal Instagram account.
She also ran a successful lifestyle blog called The Tig, but she deleted both before she married into royalty.
During her time as a senior working royal, Meghan posted on social media through their joint @sussexroyal account, but they had no control over the page.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot in May 2018, and welcomed their son Archie the following year.
The couple welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Lilibet Diana, in June 2021.
Meghan’s return to Instagram comes after she recently signed with a top talent agency in Los Angeles, hinting at her Hollywood comeback.
