Matthew McConaughey is officially adding the title of professor to his CV.
The actor is now a professor of practice at the University of Texas at Austin’s Moody College of Communication.
Matthew is part of the department of Radio-Television-Film.
The actor will continue his work as the Script to Screen instructor, a role he has co-taught since 2015.
Four years ago, he signed on as a co-teacher for the class with director Scott Rice.
The Moody College of Communications, confirmed the news to E! News.
“He’ll still teach the same class, Script to Screen, but now as an official employee he has the ability to also mentor students, explore teaching other classes and participate in all of the University events,” said a spokesperson for the college.
His new role begins in the coming weeks as the autumn term begins.
