Lamar Odom has responded to Kanye West’s touching tribute to him.

On Sunday, the rapper returned to Twitter after taking a lengthy break from social media, and one of Kanye’s first tweets was all about Lamar.

Posting a picture of him and Lamar entering his 2016 Yeezy Season 3 show, which was Lamar’s first public appearance since his near-fatal drug overdose, Kanye wrote, “My favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo, I used to go to the hospital and play Lamar the album when he was learning to walk and talk again.”

“Then we walked into the arena together,” he added.

The Kardashian family famously rushed to Lamar’s side when he nearly died after overdosing at a brothel in Las Vegas in 2015.

Despite being in the process of divorcing Lamar, Khloe Kardashian dropped everything to help Lamar recover, and the NBA player later made his first public appearance at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 show in February 2016.

Responding to Kanye’s tweet, Lamar wrote, “Glad I could be there 4 u bro like u came thru 4 me. It was a big stage 2 be on after everything I went thru but it was worth it.”

Kanye’s tribute to Lamar came at an interesting time, as Khloe Kardashian’s current boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, has been caught up in a cheating scandal.

Just 48 hours before Khloe gave birth to their baby girl, True Thompson, last week, photos and videos emerged of Tristan allegedly cheating on Khloe.
