Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have teamed up with fellow beauty brand owners to donate essential supplies to healthcare workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Moj Mahdara, the founder and CEO of Beautycon, is leading a new organisation called BeautyUnited – which is being supported by over 40 beauty and wellness brands.
All the brand owners involved, including Kylie and Kim, have pledged to support the Frontline Responders Fund, which transports medical supplies to front-line responders.
They have also pledged to donate personal-care supplies to healthcare workers.
Announcing her involvement on Instagram, Kylie said: “I am proud to stand with my fellow beauty brand founders to come together to support doctors, nurses and all the healthcare workers on the frontlines.”
“We are so grateful to the heroes who put their own lives at risk to save ours. Together we’ll be donating essential supplies and fundraising through the Frontline Responders Fund!”

Other well-known brand owners that have gotten involved include Gwyneth Paltrow (Goop), Drew Barrymore (Flower Beauty), Bobbi Brown (Evolution_18), Victoria Beckham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Rose Inc.), Huda Kattan and Mona Kattan (Huda Beauty and Wishful), and Charlotte Tilbury.
The news comes after Kylie donated $1 million to buy personal protective equipment for hospitals in Los Angeles last month, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 22-year-old has also teamed up with Coty, who own 51% of her Kylie Cosmetics brand, to start manufacturing hand sanitiser.
