Kourtney Kardashian addresses Kylie Jenner engagement rumours

Kourtney Kardashian has shut down rumours that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are engaged, after a fake Instagram account claiming to be her 12-year-old son Mason, sparked speculation.

The 43-year-old tweeted on Thursday, “Hello everyone, hope it is a beautiful Thursday. After months and months of thinking you would all know that is NOT Mason on these fake accounts, some of you don’t.”

“So I will spell it out clearly : that is NOT Mason on these fake social media accounts talking about our family.”

“To any and all ‘news’ outlets who use that false account as a source, you know better,” she continued. “Stop using it for the benefit of your slow news day please and thank you. And to the person relentlessly pretending to be Mason, ultra ultra ultra creepy.”

Kourtney’s statement comes after an Instagram account, alleging to be her 12-year-old son Mason, “leaked the news” that Kylie had recently celebrated her bachelorette party.

According to Radar Online, the post read: “Hey guys! Mason here you’re [sic] favorite person LOL. Here’s an update on life. Kylie is getting married and … that’s why she’s the only one wearing white!!!”

Kylie and Travis have been dating since 2017, and share two kids together – Stormi, 4, and a son born in February.

While numerous social media accounts claiming to be Mason have caught fans’ attention in the past, the 12-year-old created his own Instagram and TikTok accounts in March 2020 – which Kourtney quickly deleted.

“I made it private and then [Mason] turned it back to public without me knowing … so I just [deleted it]. It’s gone. It’s deleted,” the Poosh founder said at the time.

“He’s 10. I think there’s an age limit with Instagram, I think it’s 13. I think the thing that really worries me with kids is, people can be so mean.”
