Kim Kardashian is facing a trademark infringement lawsuit over her brand new Kimoji Vibes perfume.

The reality star released three new perfumes this week; Kimoji Vibes, Kimoji Peach and Kimoji Cherry.

The mother-of-three’s new launch raked in over $5 million in just five minutes, however, it looks like mobile marketing company Vibes Media want to rain on her parade.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Vibes Media have claimed that the packaging of Kimoji Vibes infringed on it’s trademarked logo.

The company’s logo is a blue speech bubble with the word “vibes” written in white lower case text, and it was trademarked in 2012.

The lawsuit states that KKW Fragrance “has been marketing, promoting, and is now selling a ‘Vibes’ perfume. The ‘Vibes’ perfume comes in a bottle that is a close facsimile of the Registered Vibes Logo.”

The company are worried that consumers will be confused into believing that Kim’s perfume is their product, or that it is authorised, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by them.

The Kimoji design is question is a black speech bubble with the word “vibes” written across it in white upper case text, with a slight rainbow penumbra.

The same design has been used multiple times on Kimoji merchandise, since Kim launched the company back in 2015.

Vibes Media are seeking both unspecified damages and an injunction to keep KKW Fragrance from continuing to sell the fragrance.

They’re also issued an order for KKW Fragrance to turn over all unsold perfumes so they can be destroyed.
