Kim Kardashian has revealed she was asked to “fill in” for Victoria Beckham on the Spice Girls tour.
During the latest episode of The Kardashians, the reality star revealed Mel C aka Sporty Spice invited her to step in for Posh when the legendary girl group went on tour in 2019.
During a trip to London with her son Saint, the SKIMS founder, 42, told friends that she once performed as the famous fashionista in a high school talent show.
She said: “They asked me if I would be her part. Mel C asked me. Can you imagine? North is like, ‘Do it, mom!’”
“Sporty Spice wrote a book and she signed it inside and she sent it to me. It said they were going on tour and they needed a Posh and would I be the Posh?”
“I am sure she was joking but when I was in high school would I ever have thought that this was like a thing? I am just a girl from high school who loves the Spice Girls and now they are asking me?”
Mel C’s memoir, ‘The Sporty One: My Life As A Spice Girl’ was released in September 2022 – three years after the singer reunited with former bandmates Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton for their UK Summer tour.
Victoria did not participate in the reunion tour due to commitments with her clothing label, ‘Victoria by Victoria Beckham’.
However, the 49-year-old is reportedly set to reunite with her former bandmates for the band’s 30th anniversary.
