Keke Palmer is seeking a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.
According to The Blast, the 30-year-old is also requesting full legal and physical custody of their eight-month-old son Leodis.
In the restraining order request, which she filed in Los Angeles on Thursday, the actress accused Darius of allegedly abusing her multiple times over the past two years.
In the California Superior Court filing, Keke detailed multiple incidents of the alleged emotional and physical abuse, including an alleged altercation that took place on November 5th.
The mother-of-one alleged in court documents: “Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”
Keke also included screenshots of what appears to be security footage of a man striking a woman over a sofa.
In the filing, Keke revealed it was the birth of their son that helped her make the decision to end their relationship.
“It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius once and for all and escape the abuse,” she wrote.
“Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence.”
Keke’s split from Darius was first reported in August.
The news came just weeks after Darius came under fire for publicly shaming an outfit Keke wore to an Usher concert in Vegas.
At the time, a source told Entertainment Tonight: “Keke and Darius called it quits shortly after he called her out on Twitter for her outfit at the Usher concert.”
“Keke is focusing on her work and her 6-month-old son. The actor and Darius have been co-parenting, but for now, they aren’t together.”
Back in July, the 29-year-old actress attended Usher’s My Way Las Vegas residency, where she wore a sheer black dress over a matching thong bodysuit.
At the time, Darius seemingly shamed Keke by sharing a video of Usher serenading her at the concert alongside the caption: “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”
After receiving backlash for his comment, the former personal trainer tried to defend himself by tweeting: “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”
“This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
Darius later deleted photos of him and Keke from his Instagram feed, while the actress appeared to poke fun at the drama by selling t-shirts that read: “I’M A MOTHA.”
Weeks later, the drama reached fever pitch when Keke starred in Usher’s new Boyfriend music video.
At the end of the video, the 29-year-old took a swipe at her ex by saying: “Dammit, I missed the show! S**t, I’m so tired. I am a mother, after all.”
