Justin Timberlake shares health update after he cancels London show

Justin Timberlake has shared a health update after cancelling his London show.

The singer announced that he would not be going ahead with his special one-off London show last night.

The 43-year-old revealed he has been struck ill with the flu.

In a video posted to his story, Justin said: “This is an unfortunate video I have to send out.”

“But I’m sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I’m gutted about.”

He continued: “I’ve been here in London all week and was so excited to perform Roundhouse. But… I’ve been battling some kind of bug and I thought it was getting better but it took a turn for the worse.”

The singer is amid a musical comeback and recently announced his UK and European tour to promote his upcoming album Everything I Thought I Was.

The Cry Me A River singer will also appear on tonight’s episode of The Graham Norton Show in a pre-recorded interview.

Although Justin admitted he “almost didn’t make it” onto the show due to his illness but “was able to power through.”

The cancelled show comes after Justin announced his new single Drown, the latest song from his new album, Selfish.

His tour is set to begin with 30 shows in North America this summer before coming to Europe in late July.

This comes after Justin showed little remorse for his part in his feud with Britney Spears following her memoir.

He told fans: “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise, to absolutely f***ing nobody.”

In a video shared to social media, the attendee stated that Justin made his remark about the Britney situation right before his performance of Cry Me A River.

The singer famously dated the Mirrors singer from 1999 until their high-profile split in 2002.

In her memoir, The Woman In Me, the 42-year-old accused her ex-boyfriend of “cheating” on her with “another celebrity”.
