Roger Mathews has vowed to win Jenni Farley back, two weeks after she filed for divorce.
According to E! News, the Jersey Shore star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce, however, it looks like Roger isn’t ready to give up on their relationship.
Not long after the news broke, Roger addressed the situation by posting a video on Instagram.
He said:Â “Alright, so here you go blood thirsty bastards who have to know what’s going on.”
“You’re the same people who go to a hockey game to see a fight breakout and go to Nascar to see somebody wreak in a car and get mangled. Nah, I’m kidding some of you are probably actually genuinely concerned. I appreciate that.”
“There’s no cheating or any dumb s**t or an juicy details,” he continued. “It’s just she grew tired of the repetitive pattern we fell into. Again, I am not going to get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
However, Roger insisted:Â “I am going to win my wife back. I’m going to win her affection back, I am going to win her love back. I have no intentions on being a single dad. We’re in counselling so there is hope. It ain’t over ’till the fat lady sings.”
According to court documents, Jenni wants to maintain “primary residential custody” of their two children; Meilani Alexandra, 4, and Greyson Valor, 2.
The reality star also requested that Roger provides child support, health insurance and funds for other health care expenses.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, first started dating while Jenni was filming Jersey Shore, and the couple later landed their own reality series, Jenni & Roger: Domesticated.
The news comes after Jenni recently reunited with her Jersey Shore castmates to film Jersey Shore Family Vacation, which has become a huge hit with viewers.
