Jennifer Lopez has revealed what it was like collaborating with her husband Ben Affleck, on her latest film project.
The couple, famously dubbed ‘Bennifer’, got back together in May 2021 – 17 years after they called off their engagement.
The pair tied the knot back in July 2022.
The actress and singer has now opened up to Entertainment Tonight about what it was like working with her husband, on her film project tied to her new album, This Is Me…Now.
The Jenny From The Block singer said: “We collaborate very well together.”
“And nobody knows my story more than he does.”
“So we were able to kind of sit down and really dig into it, in a way that I don’t think any other writer could’ve done with me.”
Jennifer admitted that despite her being “on edge” about the new project, she felt safe and supported by the Gone Girl actor while they worked on it together.
Speaking of her new film, the 54-year-old said: “This project was something I didn’t really plan.”
She continued: “When the music was done I just thought to myself, ‘There’s more of a story to be told here. There’s been a bigger journey than just a love story here.’ And so it became a much bigger, fuller project, with an incredible message.”
“And I realized I had to really get personal to tell it.”
Jennifer’s film, This Is Me… Now: The Film, is set to be released alongside her album on February 16 2024.
