Halsey has split from beau Alev Aydin and requested physical custody of their son.
According to a numerous reports the singer “amicably” parted ways with her parter after five years of dating.
The 28-year-old is said to have filed legal documents for full physical custody of the 21-month-old toddler, but wants to split legal joint custody with Alev, per Us Weekly.
Halsey requested that Alev have “reasonable visitation” as they establish a custody schedule.
The three-time Grammy nominee wants to split the cost of establishing paternity and attorney fees.
It is unclear if the 28-year-old is seeking child support from her former partner.
The former couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Ender Ridley, on July 14, 2021.
Sharing a black-and-white snap of herself and Alev with their newborn baby in hospital, Halsey wrote on Instagram at the time: “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.”
“Ender Ridley Aydin. 7/14/2021,” she added.
Ender is a popular male Turkish name which means “rare”.
Halsey announced her pregnancy back in January 2021.
