Fans were seriously concerned for Eminem on Tuesday night, after #RIPEminem started trending on Twitter.

The alarming hashtag started trending after a Twitter user wrote, “I have killed Eminem,” in a tweet that has since been deleted.

After fans spotted the hashtag, many shared their concerns on Twitter, but others pointed out that it couldn’t be true.

One worried fan tweeted: “Why is #ripeminem trending he is alive stop doing this it’s 2020 aka the worst year of all time.”

Another wrote: “BRUH I THOUGHT EMINEM ACTUALLY DIED CAUSE IT’S 2020 AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN BUT IT’S JUST YALL PLAYING TOO MUCH AGAIN #ripeminem.”

The news comes after Eminem celebrated 12 years of sobriety back in April.

The rapper decided to change his life back in 2007, after he suffered a near-fatal overdose of methadone.
