Ellen DeGeneres has broken her silence on her ex Anne Heche’s near-fatal car crash last week.
The 64-year-old was questioned about her ex after being spotted with a friend at True Lune restaurant in Santa Barbara on Monday.
The talk show host revealed that the former couple, who dated from 1997 to 2000, are no longer in contact.

In a video shared by the Daily Mail, Ellen was asked if she had spoken to Anne since the horror crash.
“No,” she said. “I have not. We’re not in touch with each other, so I wouldn’t know.”
“Do you wanna send her any well wishes?,” the cameraman asked.
Ellen said: “Sure, I don’t want anyone to be hurt.”
Anne was rushed to hospital following a near-fatal incident on Friday morning, and she remains in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for the actress told the PA news agency: “Previous reports stating that Anne Heche was stable were inaccurate.”
They continued: “Shortly after the accident, Anne became unconscious, slipping into a coma and is in critical condition.”
“She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention.”
