Channing Tatum has reportedly requested for an official custody schedule to be put in place for him and estranged wife, Jenna Dewan, as he detailed life as a single father.
The actor and Jenna, share 5-year-old daughter, Everly, and Channing wants to ensure that the toddler spends as much time with both of her parents as possible.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the 38-year-old is looking for regular visitation with Everly.
The actor reportedly requested to spend every Monday and Tuesday with their daughter, while Jenna would spend Wednesday and Thursdays with her, and they would alternate the weekends.
Channing has also reportedly asked for him and Jenna to both have two weeks with Everly during the summer holidays and for festive holidays to be split evenly.
The actor asked for the 5-year-old’s birthdays to be divided between himself and Jenna, unless they are both celebrating their daughter’s special day together.
The Magic Mike star also went into detail about their daughter’s adjustment to his split from Jenna and wrote: “In my opinion and experience Everly has appeared to adjust to our separation and living in two homes exceptionally well. I believe that she will thrive even more with structure and consistency because she is happy and more relaxed when she knows a plan.”
Channing added that he decorated the toddler’s room “very girly in a fairytale and fantasy theme” and has pictures of Everly with both him and Jenna in the room.
Jenna and Channing announced their split in April 2018, after nine years of marriage.
