Netflix have confirmed that Cardi B, Chance The Rapper and T.I will judge their new hip-hop music competition, Rhythm + Flow.
The new show is a ten part hip-hop talent search, which will air in 2019, and will be produced by a team of music elites, including John Legend.
Cardi B, who is a well established rapper, has previously appeared on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop.
The rapper seemed very excited for her new role, as she said, “We looking for a star and it’s gonna be like nothing you ever seen!!” [sic]
Similar to Cardi, Chance The Rapper, has expanded from his music by hosting an episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live and appeared in the horror-comedy Slice.
Although he is known as a rapper, T.I is no stranger to TV and film roles, as he previously starred in huge movies like Ant-Man, Identity Theft and Daddy’s Home.
Netflix have had successful TV series and films, but reality shows are a new venture for them.
In addition to Rhythm + Flow, the streaming site is also launching a new culinary competition The Final Table.
