Ariana Grande pens letter to fans after videos of her crying on stage go viral

Ariana Grande has penned an open letter to her fans, after videos of the singer crying on stage at her shows began gaining traction on social media.

The pop star can be seen singing her hit song Thank u, next in the video, and she struggles to sing the line referring to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

Fans took to Twitter in their droves to share words of support for Ariana, and in turn she tweeted an open letter back to her fans.

“I feel everything very intensely and have committed to doing this tour during a time in my life when I’m still processing a lot … so sometimes I cry a lot!, she wrote.

“I thank you for accepting my humanness.”

“No matter how hard it gets or how many feelings come up that are screaming at me to be processed and sorted through one day, I’m grounded by gratitude and promise not to give up on what I’ve started.”

Ariana chose to share the letter to let fans know that “if you too are hurting, you can push through and are not alone.”
“It is hard to balance taking care of the people around you, doing your job and healing/taking care of yourself at the same time.”
Ariana has had a very difficult few years. In May of 2017, a suicide bomber killed 22 people at her concert in Manchester. In 2018, she dealt with the pain of losing her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller to a suspected overdose.
