Ariana Grande has confirmed her plans to headline Manchester Pride this year.

The singer will return to perform in the city for the first time since the One Love Manchester concert.

Ariana organised the star-studded concert to raise money for the victims of a terror attack – which took place after her concert at the Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017.

Two years later, the songstress will return to Manchester to perform at the popular LGBT+ event on Sunday, August 25.

Confirming the news, Ariana tweeted, “manchester babes, i’m so thrilled to be headlining pride. my heart. i cant wait to see u and i love u so so much.”

Organised Mark Fletcher said, “At Manchester Pride Live we’re truly honoured to be welcoming Ariana back to the city to help us celebrate LGBT+ life.”
