U2 Dublin after party venue revealed

U2’s after party venue for their Irish gigs later this month has been revealed.

The famed four-piece allegedly paid a “significant sum” for the closure of the Red Bank Wine Bar on Duke Street after their four Dublin dates.

It’s the first time the band will throw their post concert bashes somewhere other than Lillies Bordello.

“It’s a huge coup for Keelin and a real boost to get them to go there because they have been using Lillies for years,” a source said.

“It’s become U2’s main hang-out in town in recent times. They’ve paid for the closure of the bar and all the booze for the few nights.”

According to the Sun on Sunday, the bar run by Keelin Egan, pal of TV host Glenda Gilson, will reportedly be the hotspot for the band and their entourage post gigs.

The Irish leg of the band’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE shows kicks off in Belfast on November 18th and 19th before finishing up their world tour in the 3 Arena on November 23rd, 24th, 27th and 28th.
