Shane Filan has opened up about his new album, Right Here, revealing his music “has to be a success”.
The former boyband star admitted that his money struggles since splitting from Westlife has put pressure on his second solo album.
“Now my music has to be a success, to look after them, but also so I can get better and better as an artist and keep making great records,” he said.

The Sligo native, who has been managed by Louis Walsh for 17 years, revealed he sees the former X Factor judge as a father figure.
“I think I’ve made the best album I possibly can now,” Shane revealed.
“And I do have a lot to be grateful to Louis for. He’s a manager, a mentor and a father figure.
“He fights for me, protects me and pushes me to have high expectations,” he told Express.co.uk.
