Saoirse Ronan used this €7.99 hair product to achieve her Oscars look

On Sunday night we saw Saoirse Ronan transform from starlet to full blown fashion star at the Oscars in her Calvin Klein Collection gown.

Craving her chic undone waves, Goss.ie found that the blonde beauty achieved her look with products you can pick up from your local pharmacy for less than €8.

According to the 21-year-old’s hairstylist Adir Abergel, the secret to the Carlow native’s stunning youthful beauty look was John Frieda hair products.

Creating the style, Adir applied John Frieda Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse (€7.99) all over the roots on towel dried hair.

The hairdresser then air-dried her ‘do with 100-percent cold air to get maximum volume before using a medium sized round brush to dry with hot air to form the style.

Adir then separated the hair into two-inch sections and wrapped each around a Velcro roller covering the entire head – allowing it cool and set before spraying John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray (€7.99).

After taking out the rollers, Adir achieved more volume by brushing her hair with a Mason Pearson brush into soft bedhead waves.

Finishing of the style, the US stylist backcombed the front pieces of hair to create height for a sexy side swept effect before misting the look again with hairspray.

“I wanted to give her an undone, textured blowout with a brushed out beautiful wave hand raked back away from the face,” he told Pret-a-reporter.

At Goss HQ we have to admit that he definitely achieved it!
