Saoirse Ronan has left fans in Wexford dissapointed after the actress has pulled out of special screening of Brooklyn happening tonight.
The Carlow native was due to appear at the screening in Eniscorthy where several scenes of the flick were filmed.
The 21-year-old had promised to fly back to Ireland for the special premiere, however she has reportedly “changed her schedule” at the last minute.

The event has sold out with 300 guests expected at the Riverside Park Hotel while Saoirse has bowed out due to work commitments.
Organisers of the screening received an email yesterday from the film’s distributor Lionsgate informing them that the actress is currently in the US and is unable to attend, according to vipmagazine.ie
It comes after Saoirse was recently in Ireland to attend the Dublin premiere of Brooklyn where she spoke to Goss.ie about Jennifer Lawrence’s comments on equal pay in the movie biz.
