TV3 have unveiled the official cast of their first ever soap Red Rock.
The new series begins in January 2015, and is TV3’s largest commission ever.
Red Rock will air twice a week starting next month, and TV3 have finally revealed the full line up.
New family: Meet The Hennessy’s | TV3
Based around a busy Dublin Garda station in a fictional coastal town, Red Rock will chart “the life and dramas of a community about to be enveloped by a feud, through the eyes of those who police it.”
In the very first episode of the soap we will meet two families –Â The Kielys and The Hennessys.
The two families are stuck in a ‘bitter feud’. In a press release TV3 stated that “each episode will be a mix of crime of the week stories.”

Red Rock is produced by Element Pictures and Company Pictures and stars actors Richard Flood who plays Superintendent  James McKay and Andrea Irvine who plays Detective Angela Tyrell.
Philomena actress Cathy Belton plays “the ruthless matriarch of the Hennessy family” with Love/Hate star Denise McCormack playing her arch enemy in the Kiely family.
Other stars in the soap include Game Of Thrones actress Jane McGrath who plays Garda Officer Sharon Cleere.

And actors Adam Weafer and Jack Nolan play Hennessy twin brothers Michael and David, who are embroiled in Red Rock controversy from the get go.
Red Rock has been in production since the beginning of November.
TV3 has commissioned the soap for two years, committing to over 160 episodes and representing an investment of close to €7million each year.
