Aidan Turner has let the cat out of the Poldark bag – revealing filming for the third season of the BBC drama is set to start at the end of the summer.
The 32-year-old, who received the TV Moment honour at NTA’s earlier this week, confessed the details at the event.
“We start shooting the third series I believe in September,” he said.

However, it seems Aidan may of let the news slip too soon as he quickly tried to retract the comment.
“Oh no, I’m going to be in trouble. It’s possible we’re not doing that,” he told the Sun.
The Dubliner has just wrapped filming season two, which fans won’t see will until after the spring.
Meanwhile, the Hobbit actor has admitted he doesn’t get much female attention which he believes is because he’s not on social media.

“Nobody ever calls me a sex symbol. No one ever says it to me, I don’t feel it,” he admitted.
“I didn’t think it was going to be like this. It’s a disaster! I’m not on Twitter. Maybe that’s the problem, I don’t do social media so I don’t get any messages.
“Maybe I’d feel like more of a sex symbol if I went to social media with it — I am single,” he added.
“There’s the odd time I get noticed a bit more. It’s lovely people asking for pictures, everyone’s just so polite.”
