EXCLUSIVE! New Tallafornia spin-off show Infectious CANCELLED already

It had already gained a popular following online, but new Irish reality show Infectious has already been dropped.

The trashy series starred Tallafornia stars Phil Penny, Nikitta Murray and Marc O’Neil and in the first episode alone had bitching, nudity and a lot of fake tan.

But Goss.ie can exclusively reveal that company Alonze Productions have pulled the plug on the reality show, after worries that the show would damage their reputation.

All videos and social media pages relating to the show have now been deleted.

“There was a huge row,” an insider told Goss.ie.

“The whole cast worked so hard on the production but producers decided they didn’t want to continue with it anymore.

“They had already aired a full episode and there was more to come, but they were worried about the backlash from the public.

“Ava Van Rose was pretty much naked in the first episode and the whole thing was coming across too tacky.

“Alonze want to protect their brand so they are done with the show, nothing more will be happening,” the source added.

Star of the show David D-Pole confirmed the news: “Due to inhouse fighting (not me, I was go with the flow) and a pot stirrer or two the production has ceased and there won’t be any more.

“So sorry to those who enjoyed the bit of trashy fun but I’m sure it won’t be long before another show is up and going,” he said.

Alonze Productions also confirmed they have stopped production.

“We made the pilot last year on a budget of nothing using a student crew,” they told Goss.ie.

All gone: Infectious is over for good | VIPIRELAND.COM

“The pilot was only meant to be seen by execs in TV3 and not aired. When TV3 said no  it was commented that a lot of work and time had gone into it and it was only fair that it be put online at least. We did this.

“This was never meant to be Love/Hate or Charlie, it was always a pantomime of a show designed as brain popcorn for those who enjoy reality tv and know that in real life these people are not like this.

“The backlash has been incredible. I know this type of show is the ‘ones we love to hate’ but we had to seriously think about the business we have grown and that now supports two employees and the damage this could have on it,” they added.
