EXCLUSIVE! Bressie reveals there will be changes to The Voice of Ireland

Voice of Ireland coach Bressie has revealed there will changes to this year’s RTE show.

Speaking to Goss.ie, the 34-year-old admitted that him and his fellow coaches will be bringing something fresh to the singing contest.

“Everything always needs an injection of energy and that’s hopefully what we will bring to it, there’s a few little changes happening this year,” he said.

Entering into it’s fifth season, the Westmeath man is no doubt a pro when it comes to the competition and finding talent.

However, the Can’t Stay Young singer revealed there’s still things the coaches need to “brush up on”.

“I do think there is things we need to brush up on, there’s things we need to do,” he told Goss.ie.

“It’s kind of like a well oiled machine now to be honest, we know what we are doing.”

Although a tough task, the musician admitted that the hardest part of his job as a coach is not letting people through to the next round of the talent competition.

“It’s not hard work for the four couches, it is difficult telling people they are not going through,” he revealed to Goss.ie.

“In terms of intense work, I am not going to pretend that it’s very difficult and I think that the crew have a fairly difficult time, they are there for 18 hours a day.”

The show will begin filming in four weeks time and Bressie admitted he will be fully committed to his role as a coach.

“I’m not able to take it lightly. When I’m doing stuff like that I really jump into it and commit fully to it,” he added.
